All websites that are recognized by SISSP are rigorously evaluated by our certified experts. Each website is viewed, tested, and debugged by the experts to make sure it meets all our requirements. The evaluation comprises:
Security: Each website is tested for the appropriate level of security for the size, scope, and purpose of that website. Security measures are determined and tested for problems.
Accessibility: Each website is tested on various machines and browsers to determine how well it displays. The code is also run through code validators to ensure that all the code meets the requirements of the international web standards. Sites must be accessible to the web-standard user to be awarded the SISSP seal of approval.
Best Practices of Web Development: Every website is evaluated for ease of navigation, conciseness of content, and load-time.
These standards ensure that (a) every website is designed properly, and that (b) every business has a responsible level of safety measures enabled on their site to keep their site user-safe.
