About SISSP
SISSP is a non-profit organization, founded in 2003, to help foster the ethical uses of technology. Our mission is based upon the realization that the creation of environments where people are recognized and rewarded for ethical behavior fosters the desire to continue along the path of ethical excellence.
Our goal is the security and safety of our members and all technology users. To this end, we provide a list of Rules and Standards for the Ethical Use of Technology. Every member of SISSP conforms to these ethical standards.
Additionally, we actively work to recognize those business and individuals that are practicing the ethical use of technology, through awards and public speaking events. We recognize websites that conform to our security and ethics guidelines, helping to facilitate awareness in the need for these standards.
